A Brief Description of Our Deities
The Three Patron Deities of The 6th Night Grove

Brighid(BREEJ) The Celtic Triple Goddess of Poetic Inspiration, Healing and Smithcraft. She is the Patroness of Bards and also the protector of home, hearth and women in childbirth. Her symbols are the Smith’s Hammer, the Well and the Undying Hearth Flame.

Lugh Saimaldanach(LOO sow-eel-DON-ack) The Celtic Ideal of Perfection in all Arts and Crafts. He is a Solar God who also represents leadership of the people. He is the Summer Lord who rules the year from Beltainne to Samhain and the Sacral King who must die to ensure the bounty of the autumn harvest. His symbols are the Spear, the Eagle and a Sheaf of Wheat.

Cernunnos(ker-NOON-yos) The Celtic God of Wild Animals and the Bounty of Nature. The great Stag God and Green Man who carries the seed of new life within Him through the harsh winter. He also represents Hidden Mystic Knowledge. He is the Winter Lord who rules the year from Samhain to Beltainne. His symbols are the Stag, the Foliate Face and the Torc.
